It’s time for our first Pinball Event at Pixel Arcade!
We proudly introduce: PINBALL FRENZY!
A highly energetic, fast-paced tournament for first-timers and pinball wizards alike!

  • Entry Fee: €10 (tournament participants)

This tournament is for everyone that is interested in pinball. It really doesn’t matter whether it is your first time or an experienced player!

The event will be held in a Pinball Frenzy format (also known as “Flip Frenzy” or “Pinball! Pinball! Pinball!”

 

Registration form

A “Pinball Frenzy” format (also called “Flip Frenzy,” or “Pinball! Pinball! Pinball!” in some places) is a fast-paced tournament style in pinball. Here on how it works:

Timed event.

there is a fixed time window of 2 hours, during which you play as many head-to-head matches as possible.

Head-to-head matches

you play one opponent on a pinball machine. Once you finish that match, you go into another match.

What to expect

  1. There will be a big screen on the venue which shows who you play against and on which machine.
  2. If you win, you gain 1 point; if you lose, you get -1 point.
  3. If your opponent does not show up for 3 minutes, congratulations, you have won the round!
  4. If you win a round, go to the scorekeeper’s laptop and enter who won.
  5. Check the big screen for your next match
  • No touching the pinball machine if you’re not playing it.
  • If you are 3 minutes late, you will lose that round.
  • extra ball can not be played and must be launched at max power
  • If you are player 2 and are on ball 3 and have already won, drain your ball.
  • Nudging is allowed, but not in a destructive behavior against the machine.
  • If a machine crashes and you lost your super great high score. Tough luck, try again.
